First piece recorded in Vilnius, Lithuania, literally days before the world shut down. For quite some time, I thought this might be my last live show ever. I felt sad over this but at the same time the piece has a clear sound where buzzing concrete sound events evolve slowly with percussive elements, cassette tape pause-button screech and cheap microphones used as filters to channel the tape deck ghost drones. This was the last show on a Finland and Baltics tour and very soon after the world was a different place. The second piece represents a new beginning somehow, as the world was recovering from the pandemic grip. It's recorded in Leipzig, Germany, summer 2022 and is a bit more of a performance-based piece with tapes, dictaphone action with cheap synthesizers swooshing in and out of the sound palette, perhaps making this piece a bit lighter that the first one. The piece ends with some percussive sounds, literally thrown around in the room as a type of invitation to the audience to take part in the performance as an actual, tactile event.
