Government Alpha is a Japanese harsh noise project done by Yasutoshi Yoshida which has been active since the early '90s. During the golden age of Japanoise, Yoshida was a key player prolifically releasing many records into the void at the time, this was before the internet was a key factor in finding noise. I delved deep into the project after hearing the "Perpetual Motion" release off of Dead Door Unit's now defunct label, Music Ends Here. "Castle of Rubble" is a seismic piece which utilizes piercing filters and annihilating low end. This record is beginning to end a heavy release catered to lovers of synthesis. Recorded at Xerxes Studio from Summer 2023 to Winter 2024.
