Karl Michael Toepfer is a noise artist based in Canada, who also operates the Lead Lozenges label.

His work is quite singular and instantly recognizable (sonically and visually) to those who have heard his past releases on notable labels like Absurd Exposition, Narcolepsia and White Centipede Noise.

Highly processed, inorganic, digitally distorted mechanical textures sputter and screech as they build and enfold throughout these long, super focused and patiently executed hard-panned compositions that sound like a room full of computer servers caught fire, initially slowburning before raging out of control.
