Slave Labour - VOL. I and II 4CD Boxset
Presenting one of the true physical "lost gems" of 90's Americanoise, 3 hours of aural high and low abuse entitled "Slave Labour Vol. I and II". "SLAVE LABOUR VOL. I and II", completed through the mail in 1993 and 1994, was billed as a collaboration between MACRONMYPHA and LINGULA, and originally released as a double C-90 in individually hand painted VHS boxes by Mother Savage Noise Productions in 1994. No more than 20 copies ever saw the light of day in either a public or private fashion, and the master tapes were shelved and buried by time and a busy life, with the actual release living on in Noise folklore and legend. Described as "two freaks, one from Pittsburgh and one from Houston, doing what they do, and could do, best", SLAVE LABOUR is a true representation of a seedy Americanoise tape collaboration culture, unbound by restrictions and expectations, of which MSNP was at the forefront. Dada Drumming is proud to have acquired the masters, and to be able to make available properly what is considered one of the "Holy Grails" of Noise Culture.
Released as a 4 CD Digipak with one of the original painted box covers that housed the masters as cover art, a professional re-printing of the 12-page booklet that came with the original release on 80lb paper with a laminated 110lb cover, an 11x17 poster of the booklet cover art (frame not included), two 5 x 7 postcards, one numbered, and one with printed notes from Mr. Roemer, housed in specially printed box.
