Snagcut - Grave Matter In Minor Things CS

The value we ascribe to objects is, one hopes, not confined to the merely functional or financial. Snagcut engages with this premise, offering an auditory counterpart to a series of experiences and images whose significance transcends material considerations. It is intended for those who pursue genuine value in unforeseen and often overlooked domains.

The work comprises an A3 double-sided folded poster presenting visual interpretations of the referenced images and lost objects, accompanied by a manually printed impression taken from the original plate and an audio recording issued on a recycled cassette. These elements are encased in time-worn paper, folded and marked with a small woodengraving stamp. Produced in an edition of ten. Because necessity, rather than abundance, governs its existence.
