Xeroxhead - Autoportrait CS

Based in Corréze France, we 1st came into contact with Xeroxhead after hearing some unreleased reel to reel noise guitar works & soon after, early versions of 2025’s Noix release. The mutual taste in sound and concepts was clear.
Auto-Portrait portrays a personal and lo-fi sounding cassette recording. With the use of a Fostex and reel to reel tape machines, Xeroxhead creates a restrained ambience, lead by noise loops and cut edges.
Using multi layered field recordings, the subtle Dilloway esq pulsation that runs throughout is embodied by landscaped improvisation.
